Wow you know the saying , "things happen when you least expect them to" or "everything happens for a reason?"
Well I am a FIRM believer in BOTH of those sayings. In the last 21 months my life has been turned COMPLETELY UPSIDE DOWN and back again. My husband was injured in Iraq Aug od 2007 and came home to the states in Sept 2007 in a wheel chair. I had to quit my job to take care of him 24/7, he had extensive theropy in whch we had to travel from Fort Hood, Texas to San Diego, California. He has made a TERRIFIC recovery, he still isn't 100% not even 80% but he is MUCH better than he was 21 months ago. In December of 2008 he was released from the Army and on Feb. 17, 2009 he was Medically Retired from the Army. Yes Retired, my husband is 24 and can NEVER work again. Some may think that would be awsome but for him it is HORRIBLE!!
We started the adoption process January of 2008. We got a phone call in Feb 2008 about 2 little girls who are sisters and are in need of a home. So we dicided to adopt them, but things didn't ge as planned. After buying ALL of their bedroom furniture and getting our hopes up and claaing them "our daughter" we were informed that the foster mother was going to adopt them. Talk about devistation. Ontop of that wer were no longer allowed to have contact with them so we had to stop communicateing with them.
